BROOKLYN EXPERIMENTAL MEDIA CENTER

The Brooklyn Experimental Media Center (BxmC) provides an interdisciplinary environment for media research at NYU School of Engineering, partnering faculty and students from the Integrated Digital Media program with collaborators from NYU School of Engineering, NYU, CUSP, New York City, and beyond. Our research combines experimental practices in media arts and engineering, constantly modifying industry-standard technologies and creating new ones.

GAME INNOVATION LAB

The Game Innovation Lab brings together faculty and students from NYU Tandon School of Engineering  doing research focused on games as an innovation challenge. The Lab's emphasis is on the technical/engineering/science side of games and simulations. 

CENTER FOR URBAN SCIENCE + PROGRESS

The Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP) is a unique public-private research center that uses New York City as its laboratory and classroom to help cities around the world become more productive, livable, equitable, and resilient. 

TECH KIDS UNLIMITED

Tech Kids Unlimited is a not-for-profit technology-based educational organization for kids ages 8 to 18 with special needs, which empowers and inspires the next generation of digital natives to learn, create, develop and share the tools of technology.

CODE LIBERATION

The Code Liberation Foundation offers free development workshops in order to facilitate the creation of video game titles by women.
